About the role

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Meadow Lake Hospital in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. This full-time temporary nursing position, designated as Nurse A, plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care within an integrated nursing unit. This dynamic role requires adaptability to changing conditions and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care. The work schedule for this full-time temporary position encompasses a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The structured hours per rotation typically involve 12 shifts of 11.78 hours and one shift of 8 hours per four-week period, ensuring comprehensive coverage and consistent patient care. The successful registered nurse will be an integral part of a team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of everyone in the community, providing essential nursing services in Meadow Lake. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are considered advanced competencies for this role, crucial for effective collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

To qualify for this Registered Nurse position, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or an acceptable nursing diploma. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate is also required. Crucially, applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS), demonstrating their professional standing and commitment to regulatory standards within Saskatchewan.
