CIBC is building a client-focused bank and seeks passionate professionals dedicated to client success. They empower team members to make a meaningful impact and value their contributions.
As a Mobile Financial Services Representative within the Personal and Business Banking team, you will deliver an exceptional client experience, supporting CIBC’s vision for leadership in client relationships and loyalty. Working as the first point of contact at a CIBC Kiosk in Costco Warehouses, you will proactively engage clients to understand their financial needs and identify opportunities. Your role involves completing sales of Chequing and Savings accounts, providing high-level information on other products like mortgages, Investor's Edge, and registered products within the agreed product mix with Costco. You will also refer clients requiring non-deposit account advice and servicing conversations to the appropriate Banking Centre. This self-managed environment suits individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit.
This full-time, on-site role is located inside Costco warehouses, requiring rotational shift work Monday to Sunday between 9:00 AM and 8:30 PM, based on warehouse hours. You will be required to work weekends and some statutory holidays. Commuting between nearby Costco Warehouses is also necessary as kiosk locations change.
Your Responsibilities
You will proactively engage Costco members to understand their immediate financial needs and identify opportunities for longer-term financial goals. This includes understanding the full suite of products available at banking centres to make viable introductions to banking centre colleagues.
Your responsibilities include delivering consistent client service excellence and achieving strong sales results to meet performance targets. You will demonstrate service excellence by being visible and accessible to clients, ensuring financial solutions meet their needs. Accurate tracking, recording, and updating of sales activities in appropriate tools and systems are essential. You will process valid transactions, complete related documentation on time, and obtain authorization as required. Maintaining client confidentiality at all times is crucial to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Opening or closing the kiosk at the start or end of business hours may also be required.
You will become a technology expert, promoting and demonstrating the use of digital banking options. This involves introducing clients to alternative ways to bank, describing the benefits, and assisting them in using digital options such as Mobile or Online banking.
What You'll Bring
You should have experience in a fast-paced sales and service environment, preferably within the financial and client service industry. Well-developed interpersonal and conversational skills are essential to proactively engage clients in a Costco Warehouse setting.
CIBC values individuals who put clients first, engaging with purpose to find the right solutions and going the extra mile. You should possess a passion for continuous learning and growth, understanding that there are no limits to what you can achieve. Being goal-oriented, you are motivated by accomplishing objectives and delivering your best to make a difference. You act like an owner, thriving when empowered to take the lead, go above and beyond, and deliver results. Engaging with both heart and mind, you care about people, understand different perspectives, and learn from the experiences of others. Your values matter, and you bring your authentic self to work, living CIBC's values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
