As a Manager, Digital Health with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of health care across Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Director of Digital Health, this position is crucial for creating operational lines of sight that directly connect to the strategic goals and objectives of the SHA. The successful manager will be instrumental in supporting strategy through the meticulous development and execution of operational and business plans, including their cascading, monitoring, reporting, and necessary course correction. This role demands strong leadership skills to cultivate an innovative and positive working climate, fostering a client-centric culture. Extensive experience in leading teams and project management is essential, alongside a deep knowledge of the Saskatchewan health care system and applicable legislation. The manager will work cross-functionally within the portfolio and across the broader organization, developing robust partnerships with system and community partners to enhance digital health initiatives. This is a full-time regular position, requiring travel within Saskatchewan.
To excel in this Manager, Digital Health position, candidates must demonstrate advanced critical thinking, communication, leadership, financial, computer, interpersonal, and analytical skills. A minimum of five years of experience in technology or digital health leadership is required, alongside proven experience in leading teams and project management. Educational requirements include an undergraduate degree or diploma in an applicable field such as Business Administration or Commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid Class 5 driver's license is also necessary for this provincial role, which involves travel across Saskatchewan. Essential knowledge includes LEAN management systems, leadership strategies, and an understanding of diverse, culturally safe, and representative workforce practices.
