As a Part-Time Grocery Clerk at our Conception Bay South location, you will be responsible for carrying out a full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely fashion. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering customer loyalty, and fulfilling customer needs, all while actively contributing to a positive environment of employee and customer engagement. You will make a direct impact on the daily shopping experience for our valued customers.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Above average communication skills, both oral and written.
• May be required to lift up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete physical work including but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching.

Key duties

Here’s where you’ll be focusing your efforts to ensure our store operates smoothly and our customers find what they need:

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives.
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures, as required.
• Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs.
• Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products.
• Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping the work area clean and presentable as per Company requirements.
• Prep customer orders, as required.
• Process department shrink, as required.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Perform other duties as required.
