Role Overview: Lead Service & Customer Experience at Pro Hockey Life

As a Department Manager, Service at Pro Hockey Life in Regina, SK, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring seamless store operations. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Your daily activities will focus on three key areas: enhancing customer service, optimising store operations, and fostering staff development. You will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive environment for both customers and your team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Champion and deliver Pro Hockey Life’s Customer Experience Model across the entire Store Team.
  • Meet Staff Training Saturation targets related to Product Knowledge and Fit Etiquette.
  • Achieve Net Promotor individual store targets.
  • Ensure Staff Onboarding is delivered to the company’s expectation.
  • Become an Ambassador of Canadian Tire’s Triangle Rewards Program.
  • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to Store Teams using Store Force Reporting, Daily Huddles, and formal performance evaluation programs.
  • Ensure flawless execution of PHL’s visual compliance standards, store maintenance, and pricing standards (Operational Readiness Review and Dynamic Merchandising Programs).
  • Effectively utilize and meet all store operating initiatives and directives according to required timelines.
  • Establish plans and follow up on execution of weekly staff training plans, ensuring 100% saturation on all mandatory modules.
  • Follow and ensure compliance of all corporate LP, Cash and Store Audit Compliance, and OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for overall employee discount and vendor pro deal programs.
  • Coach and develop store staff through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support.
  • Follow up to ensure execution of Weekly Plans for the store.
  • Consistently follow up to ensure 100% saturation on department-specific product knowledge programs.
  • Create development plans and conduct annual appraisals for Part Time staff members; support and coach to improve any performance gaps and conduct ongoing coaching to improve the team.
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner, leading effective Huddles / Meetings / Coaching sessions while keeping the team well informed of pertinent information.
  • Ensure all PHL selling skills and fit etiquettes are delivered at all times.
  • Provide resolution for all customer concerns.
  • Continually motivate the team and performance through recognition programs, store contests, customer compliments, and compensation.
  • Maintain PHL performance management expectations (feedback/coaching) specific to selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Promote and maintain a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Provide mentorship to teams and influence continuous growth.
  • Sponsor and encourage support for community engagement efforts.
