About the Opportunity
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Continuing Care Assistant for Mainprize Manor in Midale, Saskatchewan. In this casual role, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients, patients, and residents, helping them achieve their optimal level of functioning. You will assist individuals in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs within a supportive environment.
This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours. Successful candidates must be available a minimum of two days per week, including all shifts (days, nights, weekends), short shifts, short-notice calls, statutory holidays, and other holidays.
The salary for this position is Pay Band 12, ranging from $23.170 to $24.840 per hour across a three-step range.
What You'll Bring
Candidates must possess a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certificate. Required education or an equivalent qualification must be completed within a specified timeframe.
Essential competencies include basic computer skills, strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and effective interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently is also crucial for this role.
A Food Safe certificate may be required, and a valid driver's licence may also be necessary depending on the role's specific requirements. Applicants selected for an interview will be required to bring a valid Criminal Record Check, dated within six months and including a vulnerable sector search.
