About the Opportunity
This full-time regular position for a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist is based at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Ile-a-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan. The role involves standby shifts, working 14 shifts of 8 hours over a three-week period. As part of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, you will contribute to vital healthcare services for the community. This position is unionised with SGEU and falls within Pay Band 14.
Your Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform essential laboratory and radiology duties. These responsibilities are crucial for the detection, prevention, and management of various physiological and pathological conditions. You will apply your expertise to support patient diagnosis and care within a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You'll Bring
Applicants must possess a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist (CLXT) diploma. Essential competencies include strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, and analytical skills. Basic computer proficiency is also required. You should demonstrate the ability to work effectively and independently. A valid driver's licence may be required for this position.
