As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you will work in a fast-paced Banking Centre, leveraging your knowledge of financial services products to assist clients with their day-to-day banking needs. This role serves as the first line of support, helping clients manage accounts, process transactions, and connecting them with the right team members to achieve their financial goals.
This position requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends. You should also be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Your Responsibilities
You will engage with clients by helping them manage their accounts and products, focusing on delivering a positive client experience. A key part of your role is to connect clients to the appropriate CIBC team members who can assist them in reaching their financial objectives.
Effective problem-solving is essential; you will listen attentively, ask clarifying questions, and empathise with clients. You are expected to take accountability for client issues and know when to collaborate with others to create the best solutions.
You will become a technology expert, sharing your knowledge by introducing clients to our mobile banking applications to help them better manage their banking needs.

You must be legally eligible to work in Iqaluit, Nunavut, and where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit. The recruitment process may include an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests, such as simulation, coding, or French proficiency.
