As a Student Recruitment Service Partner, you will provide professional, informed, and creative advice to leadership and stakeholders regarding appropriate graduate recruitment strategies, tactics, and messaging. A core responsibility involves developing and evaluating graduate-specific recruitment plans that align with institutional direction and support the Access, Community, and Belonging objectives of the University of Alberta. You will act as part of an integrated team, coordinating approaches to support the enrolment goals of faculties and the institution, ensuring the university meets its overarching and targeted student recruitment objectives. Cultivating and enhancing relationships with prospective students, supporters, alumni, and other post-secondary institutions is vital. This role also involves advising on key factors impacting graduate student recruitment, including identifying opportunities and risks. You will contribute content expertise to develop and maintain recruitment presentations, publications, campaigns, and promotional initiatives for future graduate students, ensuring alignment with overall communications and marketing strategies. Building collaborative partnerships across various university units, including International Recruitment and Indigenous Enrolment Management, is essential to advocate for graduate student recruitment needs and deliver solutions that meet enrolment targets. Furthermore, you will utilize Slate to optimize graduate recruitment work, lead training for recruitment staff, and effectively allocate and monitor assigned resources and budgets to achieve expected results. Regular reporting on graduate recruitment and enrolment trends will be a key part of your contribution.
To excel in this Student Recruitment Service Partner role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate a profound passion for student recruitment and service excellence. An inherent drive to add value and a deep-rooted belief in serving the University of Alberta, its prospective students, and their influencers are paramount. Essential qualifications include an understanding of prospective student recruitment best practices and proven experience in the field of student recruitment. Familiarity with graduate programs and post-secondary education systems in Canada is also required. Experience working with graduate students or within a graduate post-secondary environment is considered a valuable asset, as is knowledge of Slate. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $71,856 to $119,681.
