As an Introductory Arts Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering engaging cultural services. You will be responsible for leading creative introductory arts programs specifically designed for children. Your impact will include assisting in the delivery of creative instruction across various arts disciplines such as theatre, dance, music, visual, literary, and multi-media arts, contributing to the rich tapestry of arts services available in Ottawa.

This position may have various language requirements, with some locations requiring English only, French only, or bilingual competencies. Specific roles may require English oral, reading, and writing skills, while others may require French oral, reading, and writing skills.

A Police Record Check is mandatory for this role. Successful candidates will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check (Level 3) with the Police Services detachment in their jurisdiction, to the City of Ottawa’s satisfaction. Please note that applicants under the age of 18 will require a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters (Level 2) check in place of the Vulnerable Sector Check (Level 3).
