Working with multidisciplinary teams across Ontario, you will help deliver essential infrastructure solutions for a diverse client base, including municipal, transportation, industrial, mining, and land development sectors. What you'll do

As an Intermediate Project Engineer, your impact will be seen in the development and implementation of critical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design municipal and land development infrastructure, including watermains, wastewater systems, stormwater management facilities, site servicing, and roadway networks that support sustainable community growth.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and design drawings that inform critical project decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, CAD technicians, and technical specialists to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Support municipal approvals and coordinate with agencies, utilities, and stakeholders throughout project development and implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, contributing to the growth of future engineering talent.
• Assist construction teams through contract administration, field reviews, and resolution of on-site technical challenges.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and project pursuits that strengthen client relationships and support business growth.
• Support infrastructure projects across municipal, land development, transportation, industrial, and mining sectors throughout Northern Ontario.

Who we're looking for

We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for community development. The ideal candidate will possess:

• 5-8 years of experience delivering municipal engineering, land development, or related civil infrastructure projects.
• A degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for, or registration as, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• Experience designing municipal infrastructure systems, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway networks.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong familiarity with Ontario municipal design standards and approval processes.
• A strong understanding of engineering design principles, project coordination, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with clients, municipalities, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• A desire to take on increasing responsibility while contributing to the growth of a developing regional practice.
• Experience working with Northern Ontario municipalities, Indigenous communities, industrial clients, or mining-sector projects is considered an asset.
• A valid Ontario driver's licence and willingness to travel periodically throughout Northern Ontario.

The compensation for this role in Ontario ranges from $81,900 to $112,800. The final salary may vary based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
