Join WSP's Resources (Industrial and Mining) division, a team renowned for offering a full range of services to industrial and mining operators, including all engineering disciplines. In this Instrumentation and Control Engineer role, you will evolve within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the planning and execution of new infrastructure construction projects, as well as the modification of existing structures. The position is based in our Trois-Rivières office, within the Industrial and Mining department. Work can also be performed from Montréal or Quebec City, with availability for travel to Trois-Rivières a few times per month.
Responsibilities
Define project needs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Present technical information, concepts, and study results clearly and structured. Produce quantity surveys and prepare reliable budget estimates. Verify and prepare tender documents, specifications, and technical documents. Supervise and mentor the work of technicians and drafters assigned to projects. Support the project manager in the execution of mandates. Participate in the design of plans, specifications, and details for industrial, mining, institutional, or electrical engineering projects. Actively contribute to the overall success of projects and the development of sustainable solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognised training. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the design of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in institutional, industrial, or mining environments. Engineer title, member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (mandatory). Possession of an ASP Construction card and availability for occasional travel. Consulting engineering experience (significant asset). Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Rigour, sense of initiative, and attention to detail. Excellent command of French, both oral and written.

Compensation
The compensation for this position in Quebec ranges from $89,200 to $118,500. The final salary awarded may differ from the range indicated above based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, geographical location, performance, and the needs of the company or organisation. The salary range indicated in this job offer may be subject to change for business reasons.
