Responsibilities
As a Department Sales Manager of Clothing, you will lead the clothing department with a passion for sports and an active lifestyle. You will focus on maintaining high merchandising standards and developing strong customer relationships as an ambassador and leader of the customer experience.
Your role involves coaching and developing your department team by setting clear expectations, maintaining open communication, providing continuous constructive feedback, and offering ongoing support. You will also build and manage a daily game and sales plan for the department.
You will create development plans for full-time staff, offering support and coaching to improve any performance gaps. Effective communication through huddles, meetings, and coaching sessions is key, along with fostering a positive work environment for your team.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a retail environment, preferably at a supervisory level. A proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills is essential. A demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry is considered an asset.
