This involves greeting patients, visitors, and staff, performing patient registration functions such as confirming demographic and insurance details, including OHIP. Booking new and follow-up outpatient appointments is a key duty, as is attending team meetings and accurately taking minutes. Supporting the intake triage process and entering information into EPIC are also vital tasks. Furthermore, you may be required to cover for other outpatient mental health Department Administrative Assistants as needed within the Queensway Health Centre.
To excel in this administrative role at Trillium Health Partners, candidates must possess a Grade 12 education combined with at least two years of community college secretarial experience or equivalent work-related experience.
