Continuing Care Assistant - SHA, La Ronge

Position summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is looking for dedicated applicants to fill a full-time regular Continuing Care Assistant position at the La Ronge Health Centre in Saskatchewan. This role falls under the SGEU union within the Long Term Care Nursing Unit. Working standard hours with rotating shifts covering days, nights, and weekends, this role involves a rotation totaling 36 shifts of 11.78 hours and 3 shifts of 8 hours per 12 weeks. The pay band ranges from $23.170 to $24.840 across a 3-step range. This opportunity may also be eligible for recruitment and or retention incentives.

Key duties

• Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients, patients, and residents to encourage an optimum level of functioning
• Supports clients, patients, and residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs
