The Canadian Consumer Lifecycle Marketing team at DoorDash is dedicated to fostering enduring customer relationships through personalized, scalable, and cross-channel experiences that enhance engagement and long-term value. This role specifically contributes to the Core Marketplace pod, which is central to DoorDash's Canadian business, ensuring customers remain engaged, retained, and return to the platform for food delivery and beyond. We are seeking a strategic, solution-oriented, and creative retention marketer to join this dynamic team. In this position, you will be instrumental in launching and refining CRM programs designed to fuel growth and retention for our core marketplace business in Canada. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to conceptualize the broader customer lifecycle while also meticulously managing campaign execution and reporting. Success in this role requires building consensus with cross-functional teams, cultivating trusted partnerships, and making data-informed decisions to achieve campaign and business objectives. Key areas of focus include creating and maintaining campaign and workflow strategy for Canada Core MAU efforts, including offer, cadence, and audience testing, as well as analyzing the impact of initiatives on key business metrics and driving creative ideation and iteration.
As an Associate Manager, Consumer Lifecycle Marketing, you will own the Canada Core Marketplace lifecycle strategy, developing and executing CRM programs that drive engagement, retention, and resurrection for DoorDash's core Canadian customer base. This includes building end-to-end campaigns, managing audience segmentation, targeting, creative briefing, quality assurance, launch, and post-campaign reporting within platforms like Braze. You will design and iterate on customer journeys, constructing trigger-based and always-on CRM programs that connect with customers at pivotal moments in their lifecycle, such as onboarding, re-engagement, and win-back. A significant part of this role involves partnering cross-functionally with teams like Product, Analytics, Promo Strategy, Creative Studio, and Marketing Operations to deliver cohesive lifecycle programs. Furthermore, you will analyze and optimize campaign and program performance with analytics partners, identifying trends and translating findings into actionable improvements. Staying current on best practices in lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and CRM innovation is also crucial, bringing relevant learnings to the broader team to enhance our overall marketing efforts.
We are excited about candidates who bring at least four years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing. Deep familiarity with CRM technology, including email service providers (ESPs) and marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is essential. An analytical mindset coupled with strong attention to detail is critical for success in this role. You should be a strong writer and communicator, capable of articulating complex strategies clearly. Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Periscope is also required. Furthermore, a solid understanding of email industry best practices, including contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics, will be highly valued. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and possesses the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected for this position, which offers a base pay range of $113,000 to $141,000 CAD, localized based on work location within British Columbia, alongside comprehensive benefits including an RRSP with employer match.
