Your expertise will be crucial in conducting preventative maintenance diagnostics, performing necessary repairs, and maintaining the overall functionality and safety of our diverse range of gaming systems. The technician will handle a variety of equipment, ensuring all systems are in optimal working condition.
<h3>Key Responsibilities and Duties</h3> As an Amusement Technician, your daily tasks will involve a comprehensive approach to equipment care and system management. You will be required to execute the repair of various gaming equipment components and diligently follow a preventative maintenance program for all gaming machines. This includes performing necessary maintenance changes on gaming systems and installing supports, software, and ensuring the working ability of new and existing gaming equipment. A key part of your role will be to remove and replace worn components and reactivate gaming systems efficiently. Furthermore, you will conduct preventative maintenance diagnostics and complete all repairs that the machines require to maintain peak performance. Adherence to all safety procedures is paramount, ensuring good housekeeping and the safety of all work areas. You will also perform assigned equipment inspections, report on conditions impacting customer satisfaction, and respond effectively to all operational issues. Occasional guidance and training to others may also be required.
<h3>Qualifications and Work Environment</h3> Candidates for this Amusement Technician role are required to possess a minimum college diploma in Electronics or a similar field, coupled with at least 3-5 years of experience in a related capacity, specifically with gaming equipment repairs and preventative measures. A thorough knowledge of gaming equipment principles and operation is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, reliable, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. This role demands a positive, professional, personable, and adaptable individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. The position may require work outside of regular operating hours to support installations, deliveries, removal, or repair of games. Physical demands include the ability to work with tools, pipes, and materials, lift and manipulate objects up to 80 lbs for 50 feet, and stand for extended periods. The use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), such as hard-hats and safety boots, is required due to industry hazards. Maintaining compliance with Federal, Provincial, and Municipal codes and laws is also a vital aspect of this role, ensuring all equipment and operations meet legal standards.
